Islamic Holidays

 Muslims celebrate many different holidays.
  • Muslims celebrate Ramadan because it was the month that the Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad.
  • Muslims celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr because it is the first day after Ramadan and they can stop fasting.
  • Muslims celebrate Eid-ul-Adha because it was the day Abraham was going to sacrifice his own son for the sake of Allah.
  • Muslims celebrate eid by praying eid prayer in the morning at their desired mosque. They then gather with their family or friends and eat food and give gifts.
