Summary: Janes Andrades started off as a janitor but reached for higher education. Her received education made it undemanding to pursue her career as a nurse practitioner. With an excessive amount of discouragement, Janes proved that even with racial standards… the sky’s the limit.
Analysis: I feel that this article is a good teaching lesson for many Africans who are interested in pursuing a higher value job, or education.
Discussion questions: What do you think is the best way to end limits for African Americans? How do you think we can stop the spread of negativity?

I think the best way to end limits is to try and give everyone equal opportunity. To do that, we need to try and break African Americans out of the poverty cycle many were put in many years ago. We also need to promote the education that anything is possible if you put your mind to it and work hard.
ReplyDeleteI think the best way to end limits for African Americans is to try to be more equal. If we give them equal opportunities then there will be no limit, and we can also promote in schools that always try no matter what other people say.
ReplyDeleteI think a way to stop spreading negativity towards those who want to achieve their dreams it to provide as much support to them as possible. Then, through the hard times all the love and support given will outweigh the bad days.
