“How this 23-year-old CEO turned her dorm room side hustle into a business bringing in $1 million” written by Rising Africa on August 15, 2020, is one of many examples of success stories throughout Africa. It is an inspiring and uplifting story about a young entrepreneur who made millions by doing what she loves; making DIY skincare recipes. A junior in college tweeted about her favorite beauty hacks and tips, and after gaining a large following from that tweet, she pursued her interest in skincare and makeup, and started her own successful company.
I believe that this article clearly exemplifies African resilience. It shows that despite the many misfortunes and hardships involving Africa, there are many positive things done to or by African people. A young girl had her future completely switched from being a surgeon to follow in her father’s footsteps, to doing what she enjoys the most; making DIY skincare recipes, and making millions from it. She is still very young, and is already very successful.
How do you think she could make her company even more successful?

I think that she could reach out to other young people like influencer's and ask them if they would promote her products.
ReplyDeleteOne way she could make her company more successful is by opening up different stores across her city.
