Giving Back to the Community that Helped You Succeed

Summary: 

The hardship that Mac Sarbah faced was that he had to use lanterns to study, walked many miles to get to school, and had challenges while growing up in rural Ghana. People help him along the way, such as friends, family, and teachers, with all this help he landed himself in top universities, including Cambridge and Harvard. To give back to his community, he created a company to help younger people with their dreams and provide an efficient support system. 

Analysis:

I feel that people always talk about the negative things that happen in Africa or the violence that happens, but actually there are many successes like the story of Mac Sarbah and how he started his company. This article shows that with perseverance and hard work you can achieve your dreams and give back to the community that helped you along the way. I agree that this is a crucial time for young people in Africa to have an effective support system because the studies showed that by 2050 there will be over a billion young people under the age of 25.
