The challenge that I am addressing is that there is not enough food options available in the cafeteria to meet the religious dietary guidelines of Islam. People follow there religions which means there will be some restrictions and I thing that the food provider for HCHS (Quest food services) can add and change different meals and foods they are serving.
I would recommend alternatives for pork such as, poultry or seafood, except for fish without scales, shrimp, crabs, and prawns because according to The Spruce Eats Muslims can't consume pork or pork byproducts. They are also forbidden form eating animals that were dead prior to slaughtering, and animals not slaughtered properly or not slaughtered in the name of Allah. Other forms of protein that are forbidden are carnivorous animals, birds of prey, and land animals without external ears. Additional harams (forbiddens) are blood and blood byproducts as well as alcohol.

For the religion of Islam, a special holiday is Ramadan, which Muslims fast during the hours of daylight. At the end of each day, Muslims traditionally break their fast with a meal called the iftar. Following the custom of Prophet Muhammad, the fast is often broken with dates, plenty of fluids, low fat, fluid-rich foods and foods containing some natural sugars for energy. I think that Quest Food Services can provide foods that would help give natural energy after Ramadan so that Muslims and other religion at the school can get an opportunity to have the foods they like or for people to try new foods.
