Even in times of hardship, Africans have prevailed in so many ways, pioneering more efficient and bold new ideas.
One of these ideas came from the minds of Shola Akinlade and Ezra Olubi, the founders of ‘Paystack’, a company primarily known for its assistance in online payments and the like. (To compare it to something we know, imagine Paypal combined with banking.) The article talked about the achievements of Paystack, and it’s immediate font for success. Quickly being observed and purchased by it’s now parent company ‘Stripe’ a similar general financing company known for good quality in their works. Honestly? This is great! Stripe is a European based company with high hopes for Paystack, seeing promise in the new ideas of it’s founders and managers, considering the fact that less than a few decades ago people would scoff at the mere IDEA of talking business with someone of color we as a society have significant progress in terms of healing and acceptance.
How much longer do you think our nation will take to near fully ‘heal’ from this radically malicious view and why?
